Team MRL- Where winning is a tradition

TAZ goes from last to first in 36 laps to pass VLR Shock and bring home his 3^rd consecutive CHAMPIONSHIP joining  the greats Jimmie Johnson and Cale Yarborough.

Pomeroy Mountain, Tennessee- Team VLR knew coming into the Championship night they could not win the championship but they thought they could still his thunder. All the stars were lining up for VLR Shock which grabbed the #1 pill draw and would run away in heat 1. VLR F1yer would go onto win heat #2. With Taz having to start in the back in the A main Shock might get his long awaited win at MRL. Shock would pull away from the field but on lap 36 he had some company. Taz would make a daring move to pass Shock on the high side coming out of turn 2 by turn 4 Taz had open a 2 car lengths lead and never looked back. Can anyone stop Taz? Or is he The Best there is…The Best there was…and The Best there ever will be.  I would like to thank all the racers who came out every week and made this a fun and competitive league. Keep checking back for next season updates where there will be nice prizes for the top 3 in points with the winner getting his choice of a 1:24 scale die cast replica of his online race car or a gift certificate. David Colyer Jr. had a very remarkable month of February picking up 3 impressive wins at MRL, BST, and Dixie Southern leagues. He also had a number of top 5 and top 10 finishes. Look for David to win many more races and maybe a championship soon.
